Russians are currently voting in a presidential election that is expected to give President Vladimir Putin another term in power. The voting will take place over three days, but there is no significant opposition to Putin. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry and NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg have criticized Russia’s attempts to hold elections in occupied territories or compel residents to vote. Skirmishes between Ukrainian paramilitary groups and Russian forces continue in the border regions. Ukraine’s air force claims to have shot down 27 Iranian-made drones across the country, resulting in two deaths in Vinnytsia.
